RECAP: NSWC Marlins Annual Meet (2026)

The Super Sharks have officially completed the second swim meet of the 2026 season at NSWC! It was a scorching hot weekend, with the sun piercing through our goggles and beating down on our amazing parent volunteers. Despite the heat, we were able to push through and have an extremely successful meet!

We had so many massive best times throughout the meet (we almost finished Jaina’s whole supply of gummy worms by the end of the first day!) and all of the coaches and I are extremely proud of everyone! Congratulations to all of the swimmers who received a gift for winning a bell race!

One of the most exciting events of the NSWC meet is the Parent Relay! This year, our parent relay team placed 4th with a time of 2:16.25! Thank you to Jen, Lynn, Adrian, Lance, Herbert, Wesley, Owen, and Alex for representing SUP and taking a bite out of the competition!

A special thank you to the board for bringing the coaches not one, not two, but three rounds of shirley temples! It was very much appreciated during the blazing hot day.

Our second meet of the year was extremely successful and the coaches are excited to see even more improvements in every single race. See you on deck at the POCO Marlins Invitational!
